This is a bit about me:
I live on the southwest coast of Washington State, where the wind blows, and we dry out periodically between the rainshowers.
Sewing is the focal point of my world. If I’m not sewing, I’m thinking about sewing, what I’m working on and what the next project will be. I began sewing at about 12 years old, and never quit. I am in love with fabric old and new. The prints, the textures, the colors. Seeing how all of those change, and how some stay the same over time is fascinating to me.
I sew: clothes from vintage and new patterns, bags, accessories, quilts, and give a try at whatever I think of ( I made a lampshade recently ).
I create: patterns, techniques, and combinations.
I collect: vintage patterns, fabric – both vintage and new, buttons, sewing machines, champagne glasses and divided plates.
